We would like to share a brief collection of what we do in Year 9 at University Campus
IGNITE
IGNITE is the signature program of our partnership, with La Trobe University. The program and associated research project are led by Dr Rochelle Fogelgarn from La Trobe’s School of Education. This innovative program introduces Year 9 students to the concept of self-guided learning. Students are given the freedom to spend time to explore their Passion topic. It is a wonderful example of truly differentiated self-guided learning as the teachers don’t “teach” but act as facilitators. "TDU's - Our Inquiry Units
At University Campus we offer 4 Inquiry Units - Assisted Inquiry learning all ran with different levels of independent learning. We have Globalisation, WW1, Uni. Inc. ( Entrepreneurial Program) and Science of Life. To get a feel for them, check out the links above
